Broiled grapefruit is healthy and an elegant brunch dish or anytime snack idea. What a great addition to breakfast or Sunday brunch!
- brown sugar
- melted butter
Here's how you make it:
- Cut a grapefruit in half.
- Stir together some brown sugar, melted butter and a pinch of cinnamon.
- Using your fingers, sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over the grapefruit halves.
- Slip it under the broiler about 4 inches from the heat source and broil until the sugar is uniformly bubbly, about 2-3 minutes.
It's good for you and absolutely delicious. Even kids like it!
