The easy baked spaghetti casserole has just five ingredients: spaghetti noodles, ground beef, onion, spaghetti sauce, grated mozzarella and grated Parmesan. The ground beef is cooked with the onion until browned (don't forget to season with salt and pepper!). Your favorite spaghetti sauce is stirred in along with the cooked noodles. The mixture is poured into a casserole dish and topped with the cheese. Bake the pasta casserole in the oven for about 30 minutes. Done.

Serve this easy ground beef casserole recipe with a salad and a fresh vegetable. You could throw in some crusty bread or garlic bread, too.

Trying to figure out how or why this is considered "Amish baked spaghetti"...this is how I've always made baked spaghetti and was never taught to make it this way...just seems like an intuitive recipe...I decided to make baked spaghetti one day, threw my usual ingredients together in a baking dish, topped with cheese and voila...same thing as this
