The Best Lemon Bars Recipe: Pucker Up for a Bite of These Tart, Luscious Lemon Bars

Lemon bars are kind of the iconic lemon dessert. This is the easiest lemon bar recipe you'll find – unless you buy a premade mix. Make a batch and brighten someone's day!

Ingredients

Crust

Lemon Filling

  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest

Optional Garnishes

Here's how to make it:

  1. Combine the flour, butter and powdered sugar until it is fully combined. Press into the bottom of a square baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 20 minutes.
  2. To make the filling, beat the eggs in a bowl. Add the sugar, flour, baking powder, lemon juice and lemon zest. Whisk together well. Pour the mixture over the crust. Bake another 25 minutes or until golden. Cool. Dust with powdered sugar and then cut into bars.

Yeah these lemon bars do you use the all-purpose flour for this and white flour only The almond or any of the flour will work and can you use the terminango sugar The brown sugar the raw sugar instead and you use fresh lemons or lemon juice after we read the recipe but they look fabulous thanks for any tips you may have
