Classic Popcorn Balls Recipe: This Easy Popcorn Ball Recipe Is a Blank Canvas

Whether it's for the holidaystailgating or birthday parties, popcorn balls are always a hit. Adding sprinkles can customize them to fit whatever occasion is on the calendar. They are truly a blank canvas. For fun, serve them in ice cream cones or add mini marshmallows.

Ingredients

Here's how to make them:

  1. In a pot, combine the sugar, light corn syrup, butter and salt. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat. 
  2. Add the vanilla and baking soda. Stir well. 
  3. Pour the syrup over the warm popcorn. Stir to coat all the popcorn. If using sprinkles, add them now. 
  4. Spray your hands with nonstick cooking spray and then shape the popcorn into balls. Cool completely.
