This Crunchy Corn Fritters Recipe Is Ready in About 10 Minutes

Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and spiked with sweet corn. Who doesn't love a good corn fritter? These crispy corn fritters are a great side dish, or satisfying enough to serve as a light lunch or dinner.

Even kids will gobble these up  and this corn fritter recipe is ready almost as quickly as a bag of microwave popcorn (but so much better).

Cook Time: 6 minutes
Total Time: 11 minutes

Ingredients

Here's how to make them:

  1. Combine the corn, flour, sugar and baking powder. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Stir to combine.
  2. Add the eggs and cream. Stir together thoroughly. 
  3. Heat a thin layer of oil in a skillet. Scoop the corn fritter batter in mounds into the pan and press to flatten. Fry about 3 minutes, flip and cook another 3 or so minutes on the other side. Remove to paper towels. Season with salt.
