This hot fudge sauce has been a favorite in our family for over 50 years! The recipe has been passed down through three generations. Give it a try!
- 2 squares chocolate
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- pinch salt
Here's how you make it:
- Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
- Add sugar and mix well.
- Add the evaporated milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick.
- Add butter, vanilla and salt.
Use on ice cream, drizzle over your favorite cake or brownies, or perfect as a dip for fruit or marshmallows!
