Need a healthy snack? Here's how to feed the need for a salty little crunch. These garbanzo bean crunchers are loaded with nutrients, like 27 grams of slow-burning, good carbs, 6 grams of muscle-building protein and a whopping 5 grams of dietary fiber in every 1/2 cup.
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
- seasoning of choice (garlic salt, paprika, salt, pepper, Mrs. Dash, onion powder, etc.)
Here’s how to make them:
Rinse and dry the garbanzo beans.
Toss the garbanzo beans in olive oil and seasoning. If you want to make two flavors, simply divide them on the cookie sheet. Roast at 400 degrees F for 30-40 minutes or until crunchy. Watch carefully to not burn the beans.
