Easy Roasted Garlic Recipe: This Delicious Roasted Garlic Recipe Is Healthier & Tastes Better Than Butter

Roasted garlic is delicious, and when roasted, it can literally melt in your mouth. Plus, garlic is an anti-inflammatory that has several health benefits, including boosting immunity. Instead of butter, use roasted garlic as a condiment, a healthy spread, or add it to mashed potatoes, pasta or dressings. It’s so easy to make, and can be kept in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Ingredients

  • fresh garlic 
  • olive oil

Here’s how you make it:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Peel away the papery outer layer of the garlic.
  3. Cut the top one-third off the top of the garlic.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the garlic until completely covered.
  5. Roast upright in a covered dish for 1 hour.
