Florida State University is where David Emory Fleet earned his bachelor's degree. He finished his education at Samford's Cumberland School of Law, earning his J.D. He spent over 18 years working as an assistant state attorney in Florida's First Judicial Circuit after passing the bar.

Because of his passion for education and extensive background in the law, David accepted a position as an Adjunct Professor and Senior Legal Instructor at Northwest Florida State College's Criminal Justice Training Center. A core group of highly skilled adjunct professors, like David, help the full-time faculty keep the programs current with technology developments, trends, and societal needs. The Institute of Police Technology and Management is in charge of the program.
