The C&C Line By Clean & Clear Fights Gen Z Breakouts in a Cooler Way

Bolstered by the success of trendy K-beauty skin-care products, Johnson & Johnson went bold this summer with a new twist on a familiar acne line. Launched in late July, C&C by Clean & Clear addresses teen skin in a cooler way. They even looked to young adult bloggers to help them create it.

Brooklyn McKnight and Bailey McKnight are 18-year-old identical twin YouTube vloggers who were consulted on product development for this trendy new collection of skin-care products aimed at Gen Z (kids born 1995-2012). The packaging was actually designed to look great on your counter, according to the product developers, and help encourage teens to stick to a regular skin-care routine. And while the bulk of the products are for fighting teen acne, the focus is more on the "cool factor" and the enticing scents, with ingredients such as coffee, tea tree oil and mint.

Bottom line is, teens love it and it's a lot more affordable than some of the other lines out there at $8 to $16.

Belinda Lichty Clarke, you are my hero! This would be perfect for my two teens. Especially my 16 yr old son. He is a junior and is getting more self conscious about acne. My daughter on the other hand likes what I get her from Ulta. We rack up a lot of points on the Ulta Mastercard that gets us lots of reward points to redeem for all of our beauty needs. :-)
