To make this classic Thanksgiving dessert recipe you only need six simple ingredients. Here is your short shopping list: a can of pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling), a can of sweetened condensed milk, eggs, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract and an unbaked pie crust. You can use a frozen pie crust, refrigerated pie crust or make your own homemade pie crust recipe.

- 16 ounces (1 can) pumpkin puree
- 14 ounces (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Here's how to make it:
- Combine all ingredients. Mix well.
- Pour into unbaked pie crust.
- Bake at 425 degrees F for about 15 minutes. Reduce oven heat to 325 degrees F and continue to cook until set, about 40 minutes. Cool the pie then refrigerate until ready to serve. Store the pie covered in the fridge. The pie is good cold or at room temperature.
