Being divorced myself, you are right on with your message and tips. Kim Wadsworth You can't keep women down for too long - we get right back up.

I am crying, Kim Wadsworth . I feel every bit of the pain and every bit of the recovery you went through. My marriage lasted 18 years, so I guess I exceeded expectations, LOL. I got married when I was 23, so I guess I was part of that 60 percent that ended in divorce. Damn, it was hard. But damn, it was worth it to come out on the other side of it. I am remarried now, so very happily, and so you are right: "Your marriage needed to end; your life did not." Life goes on and sometimes it can be even better than before. I love your tattoo and what it signifies. Focusing on my kids got me through the worst of times. Sending you so many hugs, chica. Thank you for sharing this. You are amazing! (And so is your sister!) Great tips! So very true. I've been there, was divorced 3 years from my ex-husband. We had our work to do. But, in our situation forgiveness and accountability, and for some reason we still loved each other through it all. We remarried this year. I would never have envisioned this ending on the day I left. The time apart was purposeful! I healed, I too found my strength, reclaimed parts of myself and most importantly my I AM ! Part of the universe. Humbly so. I'm grateful for it all'especially knowing that true love is what we give and who we are, regardless! Oh and one last thing - Ho ponopono prayers. Forgiveness sets us free, for the love meant for us. I surrendered it all! Many many Blessings to you!

I love what you have to say. I was the "butterflies and rainbows" on the outside. I was in an abusive situation and always covering it up for my kids. I was married 25 years. It took me eight years to get completely out if It. Wine and friends are the best medicine. Thank you for sharing your story. Just writing about it is great therapy.
