Love Books & Traveling? Combine the Two With This Fun Idea! by Donna John

On a recent trip to Lake Tahoe, our cabin had a pretty impressive library of books to choose from – many about the area and from local authors. And I thought, what a great way to add to my book collection! Here's what I did: 

• Before leaving, I took some photos of the books so I could order a few when I got home. 
• Inside the book’s cover, I made a note of the trip and the date taken (you could even tape a photo to the inside cover from the trip). 

If your room doesn’t have a selection for you, visit a book store on your trip and get some recommendations from the locals. Not a big reader? Buy a cookbook and treat your family to a dinner from the region!
