I have three teen sons, and I know how rough it can be! But one of the biggest mistakes parents of teens make is thinking they need us less now than they did when they were little. Truth is, teens need parents MORE.
They may be bigger and busier, and act like they don't need us, but they're facing major life decisions, emotional struggles and learning to cope with life. They need parents to be there, to listen, to guide. Make sure you're there before and after school, and when they come home at night. Be available. Listen. Talk. They may almost be "adults," but they're not grown up yet!
