When my son was too young to participate in many fall crafts, I found one that was perfect for him! He had an endless amount of energy, and this is a great way to combine exercise and fine motor skill development.
- We took a walk around our neighborhood with a bucket.
- I let him put every pine cone into the bucket that he could find, one by one.
- We then returned to our house and placed them one by one into a hurricane vase with a battery-operated candle in the center.
We had tons of fun doing this project together, and the end result was a cheap and easy fall decoration!
