Fighting ants in your home? Ant hotels don’t really work and sprays just stink up the house and spread toxic fumes. The best remedy I have found is a homemade mixture to control ants.

You'll need:

• 1/4 cup sugar
• water
• 2 tablespoons Borax powdered soap

Here's how to make it:

1. Mix the sugar with some water.
2. Add the Borax.

Here's how to use it:

• Pour some into a lid with a small lip such as a margarine container. 
• Place it on the floor (away from kids and pets) where the ants are getting in. 
• Now wait! 

The ants will come and hang over the side of the lid and drink it up! Let them savor it because they will bring it back to the nest! Bye, ants! I've found that it works every time!
