Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here. I'm Elisa Schmitz, founder of 30Seconds, a lifestyle media company that inspires and empowers busy women (and men) – in about 30 seconds. Our growing tribe of contributors shares amazing tips and hacks, articles, recipes and other nuggets of wisdom that make the world a happier, healthier and more delicious place, 30 seconds at a time.

Why 30Seconds?

Like so many of you, I found myself constantly reaching for my phone to multi-task and get things done. Whether waiting in the school carpool line, standing in the grocery store checkout or running my business, my smartphone became the most important tool in my utility belt. And it was clear I was not alone.

Having recently sold my first business, iParenting, to the Walt Disney Company, I knew the opportunity to provide great information and inspiration on the go was my next challenge as an award-winning entrepreneur. I launched 30Seconds with the mission to inspire busy people with insights to make their lives better, while focusing on protecting their most precious asset: their time.

Since then, 30Seconds has grown into a vibrant digital media company with contributors globally, a variety of engaging channels and a growing database of rich content. Our nuggets of wisdom are unique and original – success secrets, easy and delicious recipes, career and entrepreneurship lessons, health and beauty tips, parenting and travel hacks, product recommendations and more – that help busy people save time, save money and save their sanity.
