"Green Book": Why I'm Pulling for This Movie to Win Best Picture at the Academy Awards™ by Jessica Lawrence

For the past two years, I've gone to Florida for Thanksgiving. I spend it with my dad (just the two of us), and while it has been vastly different from what I grew up with, it's been extremely welcomed.
We have developed a new tradition of going to the movies on Thanksgiving. I did my research beforehand, as my dad never went to the movies with me when I was a child. In fact, I only remember him going to see "Jurassic Park" with me when that came out and literally never again. So, I clearly want to make sure this tradition is fun for both of us. This year, we saw "Green Book."
Shockingly enough, my dad loved it so much that he immediately sent an email to all of his friends encouraging them to go see it themselves. We, together, called my mom and told her details about the movie. We couldn't stop talking about it for days. In fact, when I had returned home, we still were texting about it!
So this year, I'm pulling for "Green Book" to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards™, because both my father and I loved the movie.
