Christmas Ornaments: Show Us Your Favorite Holiday Ornament & Share the Story Behind It by Donna John

Decorating the Christmas tree at my house takes forever. One reason is that I have a ton of ornaments that have been collected over the years. The other? So many of them hold such fond memories for me of people, places and events. As they're hung up on the branches with ribbons and hooks, I find myself telling whoever will listen about why that ornament holds a special place in my heart.
A favorite ornament of mine (pictured) are actually three ornaments that are hung together every year. One is a girl that says "First Born: Mom's Favorite," one is a boy that says "Middle Child: Mom's Favorite" and the last one is a girl that says "Youngest Child: Mom's Favorite." The ornaments were bought years ago at Cracker Barrel, at the height of the time when my daughters swore their brother was my favorite. Great memories and they make me smile every time I look at them on the tree.
