I have been in a book club for about a year and a half now and it has been so very AMAZING for me. These women have been my support through some very tough times. We talk about social things more than the book some meetings, but that's just because we are now such great friends! I would recommend one to ANYONE!

Great to hear! Friendships are one of the best results of a strong book club - nothing better! If you ever think things are getting a little "stale," this book has wonderful (and do-able) suggestions. Worth a look!

I know that such clubs exist in many US cities. The main task is communication of people on literary topics. I know that many people use such meetings to promote their product. I was recently in Torino and saw people who gather such clubs to talk about religious topics. I think it's wrong. Each person has his own opinion and religion is the personal topic of each person. We must beware of such events. Such book clubs can be dangerous. You should use only verified places and communicate only with trusted people. It is connected with acts of terrorism and sects. We do not know the thoughts of the people and the truth of their intentions.
