these are great tips...all our family shots are candid...i'm not a poser :) one thing i would like to take photos of the young ones next to things to show how small they still are...perhaps by a chair or a commonly found item :)

screen grabs from video are high quality these days too...if a kid is opening a present, film it, there are 30 pictures per second in that video clip :)
