So motherhood isn’t always a picnic. Sure, we feel gratitude, fulfillment, even bliss, but let’s face it, mom, there are days when we have to remember why we do this. Life gets topsy-turvy and we don’t know which end is up. All kidding aside...

• We lose our job.
• Someone gets really sick.
• Someone has an accident.
• Our child has a fight with a friend.

Even the tough love can test our limits. We don’t want to disappoint our child or cause him emotional pain. So even though it must be done, we hesitate. Every child is different, and there’s no rulebook telling us how to be the best mom. Bottom line: we need to trust ourselves, and the still, small voice within. Sure, we doubt ourselves, at times; we’re human. But moms need to be the strongest ones on the planet. And we are. Don’t you agree?
