Don't spend a lot of money on fancy placemats for your Thanksgiving feast. Give that job to the kids! They get some fresh air and you get a fun, festive table.
You'll need:
- fall leaves of various sizes
- glue
- construction paper
Here's how to make them:
- Send your kids outside to collect various sized and shaped fall leaves. (Better yet, go on a nature walk together!)
- Have your child glue the leaves onto a sheet of construction paper.
- Allow to dry. If you want to go one step further, you could even have them laminated.
