Why in the World Donald J. Trump? Here are a Few Reasons Why I Think He Won in 2016

At least 50 percent of our country never expected to utter the words "President Trump," but here you have it. We are at a place in history where a political outsider has grasped the golden ring. Why him? Here's what folks are saying:

  • Conservative on Issues: After eight years of one party, typically, the pendulum swings, giving a natural nation balance.
  • He Can Run a Business: DJT has proven business savvy showing that he can operate a huge corporation. Hopefully, this experience will help bring America back from insolvency, creating jobs and expanding our worth.
  • Won't Back Down: He has fought many adversaries and odds and stuck to his instincts and won. Like it or not, he won't be pushed around and will defend the U.S.

This article reminded me of something I grew up hearing my mother say who's very frugal and was in charge of making sure the bills were paid and never spent beyond our means, "put any housewife in the Oval Office who can balance a check book and this country wouldn't be in the shape it's in"! Of course she didn't take into account all the logistics, but it'd be a good place to start. Which as one of the points made, having run a successful business perhaps this is at least one positive contributor President Trump can make during his time in office.

Or it could be because all of the non-educated white males like myself voted for him. J/K I am not male, my ethnic background is Hispanic, and I have a bachelor's degree!
