St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Baking Challenge: How You Can Make a Difference

Do you enjoy baking? Do you love to make a difference? Well, then this challenge is for you! You can use your baking talents to support the kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Beginning June 1, 2022, there will be weekly baking challenges and a fundraising challenge. To get started, join the St. Jude Weekly Baking Challenge Facebook group.

Please note that folks excited to support St. Jude are already sharing some of their delicious creations in the group and many of them bake for a living. Their baked goods look beautiful and professional – because they’re professionals! Please don’t be discouraged if you are not a pro and just bake for fun and want to help! Anyone can participate in the challenge. The more the merrier! Remember that the goal is to raise money to support St. Jude so they can support more kids and families!

From the baking challenge Facebook page: “Thank you so much for taking on this challenge. St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. June is Cancer Survivor Month. Your support means families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. Each week of June, we will challenge you to bake a different treat (stay tuned for weekly announcements starting June 1). We encourage you to make this challenge your own and either give away your treats to friends, family or organizations in your community. Alternatively, you can hold a bake sale in your neighborhood and contribute the funds raised to your challenge fundraiser. Are YOU up to the challenge? LET'S GET BAKING!”

If you join the St. Jude Weekly Baking Challenge please let us know in the comments section below!

I'm confused. I signed up and registered, but I haven't found anything that explains how this works. Is there a place where people can donate if I bake them something or am I collecting money to send in? Is there any literature I can give people to let them know what St. Jude's does?
Ann Marie Patitucci
Thanks for your comment, Sharon. The challenge was for the month of June. You can learn more about St. Jude and how to support at: www.stjude.org

I see on FB that there is a baking challenge coming up in December. I would like to join but I need more info.
Like, what do I do with the baked products? Do I sell them, donate them?
I'm sorry, I'm new to this.
