21st Century Learning: The "4 C's" Are Important for Today's Kids

Learning is a complex, multifaceted process, but what is new for this generation of learners is that today’s kids need to prepare for jobs that have yet to be invented. In order to meet this need, schools have to create 21st century students. In order to build the skills that will prepare today’s kids for tomorrow’s society, 21st century learners must possess strong content mastery, as well as the four "Cs," which are:

  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Creativity and innovation

We have become a global society that interfaces across communities, states and nations. Helping students develop the skills that will prepare them to tomorrow will ensure their future success.
