#30Seconds Live: Kim Kusiciel Shares Her Growing Role in Social Media at 30Seconds! by Elisa Schmitz
Some people just make you feel good by being around them. Our very own Kim Kusiciel is one of those people. Kim is a Chicago-area mom of three who is living with a BRCA gene mutation and the decisions that go with that. She shares her thoughts about the joys of a messy life on her blog, No Happy Accidents. Kim is a former elementary education teacher turned part-time early childhood teacher, small business brand and social media strategist, health enthusiast and BRCA advocate.
From her very first tip on 30Seconds, we knew there was something special about Kim. And then, meeting her in real life for the first time on our #30Seconds Livestream, when we talked about living life "half full," it was like spending time with a dear friend.
"A life with happy accidents is a good life," Kim says. "I don't dwell on the bad for too long; negative mindsets are not my happy place. We have to choose to make the best of it. It’s a conscious choice to look at your life through a joy-filled lens."
With that in mind, we have expanded Kim's role to include social media. She is now a 30Seconds community builder and manages our Instagram and Pinterest social media platforms. If you haven't already, you will start to see Kim's 30Seconds pins not only on our social networks, but also on tips on our site. She will be tagging you, so you will know when you have been pinned!
"What keeps readers coming back is honesty, lots of love and a dose of humor," Kim says. We talked to Kim on #30Seconds Live, and she shared all the exciting things she's doing at 30Seconds, and how you can be part of it. We even talked about our upcoming 30Seconds Summit, and we want you all to be with us. Check out this fun video - we couldn't stop laughing!
