Want to Raise Joyful Kids? It's Simple If You Read This Quick Wake-up Call! by Gail Harris

Being joyful IS simple. But it isn’t easy. Not in today’s world – so fast and complicated with pressures to measure up. Be successful. Smart. Talented. The perfect mom. And push ourselves until we accomplish it all. Gosh, are we living in the Twilight Zone? Who has time for joy? Yet we want our children to feel joyful.
I’m talking to myself here, mom. We must find the joy within us, and set an example. Or our children are destined to seek happiness and self-worth on Snapchat. And, you know, being joyful takes self-love. Trusting our hearts. Creating enough space in our lives so we know we even want to feel joy – that it’s absence isn’t an option. Me: when I’m writing, I’m joyful, so writing this tip for you today is my way of choosing joy.
And you, mom? How will you express joy?
