Mom, Let Dad Do the Parenting Thing His Way: Here's Why! by Eirene Heidelberger
When you became a mom, you have created a tiny being with your partner – your child's father. Your child has two parents with unique personalities and parenting styles, and it's important to not micro-manage your partner and allow your child to experience being raised by both of you.
As moms we tend to take the reins on raising our children because we gave birth and biologically are more naturally inclined to nurture. As moms, we never have enough time for ourselves and by letting go of trying to control everything our partner does to raise our children, it allows us to focus on us, gives Dad confidence and bonding time with the kids and teaches your gang to listen and respect both of you.
There is no right way to parent. And when we relax and let Dad do his share it creates a more balanced family. Sounds good, right?
