Prescription Medications: Can Antibiotics Help if You Have a Virus or Flu? Find Out! Family Health

A lot of people who come into my office with a virus want an antibiotic. Antibiotics won’t help you get better if you have a virus. And did you know that antibiotics:

  • Breed resistance to antibiotics.
  • Can change the gut flora.
  • Can cause women to have a yeast infection.
