Supporting Women With Breast Cancer: Here's a Great Gift for All Cancer Patients Cancer

A friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had surgery and had a difficult time raising her arms or moving much after. Since she spent many of her days in a hospital bed, I got her a pair of flashy button-down pajamas from her favorite designer. She loved them, especially because they were easy to get on and off, and they brightened her day!

Another friend gave her a professional pair of fake eyelashes and application lessons because she lost all of her hair. It is the little things that count, and helping them cope with their new situation can make a major difference!

This is a wonderful idea, Cheryl Leahy ! So thoughtful. Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately, I know many women who would benefit from this. xoxo

Some of my favorite gifts were lanyards to pin the drain bags to after Mastectomy, a chair pillow to sleep sitting up until drain bags came out, dark chocolate, lavender/relaxation stuff, meals, and people bringing me coffee as a pick me up!
