What's the Most Common Reason for a Tummy Ache in Kids? Find Out! Kids' Health

A common complaint I hear from kids in my office is that they have a stomachache or abdominal pain. The most common cause of these aches and pains is constipation or infrequent bowel movements. I recommend:

  • a high fiber diet
  • no more than 16 ounces of dairy daily

Also, try to make sure cooked carrots, bananas and rice have a small part in your kids’ diet.
