- Make sure everyone older than 6 months has gotten their flu shot.

- Carry alcohol-based hand sanitizer for times when soap is not available.
- Don’t touch your eyes, nose and mouth – this is how flu germs enter your body.
- Cough into the crook of your elbow, not on your neighbor.
- Wipe down tray tables, shopping carts and other common surfaces with disinfectant wipes.
- Avoid contact with people who aren’t feeling well (e.g., that hug from your uncle with the wicked cough).
