Counting Calories? Oh Mom, Coffee Calories Count, Too!

Almost since its invention, coffee has been a staple for busy moms. But, the designer drinks that taste great are often filled with excess sugar and fats, leading to empty calories. 

We may not be thinking about empty calories when it comes to what we drink, but it’s important to check it out. In addition to iced coffees, juice, soda, smoothies and fruit drinks also can contain added sugar or high fructose corn syrup. It’s OK to enjoy these in moderation, but just be sure to include the calories you drink when considering your caloric intake for the day!
