What You Should Know About Taking Vitamin C When You're Sick

Often when we think about fighting off colds and viruses, we think vitamin C. Though it may not help you get better faster, ingesting it naturally through citrus and other fruits and veggies can be good for you. 

But there really can be too much of a good thing, so don’t mega dose. Taking more than 2,000 mg of it a day can lead to kidney issues. It’s also acidic, so might not be the best choice for people with stomach issues.
