Frogs have always fascinated me. As a child I hunted for frogs, as a teenager I collected all sorts of frog items from jewelry to figurines, and as a adult ... well ... I still hunt for frogs in the yard and attempt to catch (and release) them. What is it about these green amphibians that keeps my inner child alive? Not sure, but frogs are simply fun to watch and to learn about.

There are more than 7,600 species of frogs on earth, and that number grows every year. I have identified seven different species of frogs in my own backyard! Evidence shows that frogs have been hopping around the earth for more than 200 years. The biggest frog is the goliath frog in West Africa, which can grow up to 15 inches and weight 7 pounds. The smallest is the Cuban frog, which is about half an inch long.

While it's fun to look for frogs in our yards, you can also color frogs inside by printing out these adorable coloring pages of frogs for kids and adults. Coloring is a mindfulness activity, so there's never a bad time to relax and color your worries away. So hop to it!
