Loss of All Types Must Be Grieved: Let Me Tell You Why by Dr. Christina Hibbert
Loss comes in many forms. It's not just the death of a loved one; loss can also include the loss of a job or relationship, moving, financial loss and, of course, miscarriage. Whatever the loss, when it comes into our lives, it must be grieved. If not, it's like trying to run from something that's sitting on your shoulder.
The grief stays with you. If you've experienced a loss of any type, let me give you the doctor's permission to slow down and let yourself grieve. Feel what you feel when it comes, let yourself cry, talk about it and grieve.
