A challenge of motherhood is that we're so busy, we often forget to stop and appreciate what's right in front of us. One of the best solutions I know for this problem is to practice mindfulness. Mindfulness teaches us to slow down and take it all in; to savor the small moments that make motherhood so great.
Stop. Take a deep breath, use all five senses to take in the world around you. What do you see? Hear? Smell? Taste? What do you feel (like your child's arms around you)? Become more mindful and you'll never miss the moments that make life so sweet!
