Melanoma: Why You Need to Schedule a Skin Cancer Screening Now by Margaret Steck
I had a scare one summer when my dermatologist diagnosed me with malignant melanoma on my shin. Not only did I need surgery to remove a large piece of skin on my leg, I also had three lymph nodes removed and tested to see if the melanoma had spread. Luckily, we caught it early.
