Winter Blues Remedies: 3 Simple Ways to Boost Your Mood During the Cold Months

If the colder, darker months of the year get you down, you should know that it doesn't have to be that way. Here are three ways to boost your mood:

  • Get some exercise in the morning or mid-day. It can help boost your mood by increasing the blood flow to your brain.
  • Add some citrus foods to your lunch and dinner. The chemical reaction to the citrus scent can boost your mood. Try adding citrus wedges to your hot tea or brewing a cup of citrus tea
  • Snack on nuts like almondswalnuts and sunflower seeds. They contain arginine, an amino acid that stimulates blood flow, allowing nutrients to move more quickly.

Hopefully these ideas will wipe your blues away!
