Traveling without your kids can be hard on both parents and children, but with technology you can still stay connected. 

• Make sure you download Skype on your computers and phone before you leave. It's free if you have Wi-Fi access. 
• If you're traveling internationally, you can turn off your phone connection to avoid roaming fees when you land and use Wi-Fi instead. 
• Also make sure you have a Skype account and you can pre-pay for phone calls. 
• Make a phone call to see if they are on the computer and then use Skype to free video chat!
