It's that time of year: cold and flu season. Thanks to my two sons (I like to call them little germ factories), I have already had my share of colds this year. Being sick is never fun, but I've found an interesting way to help clear sinus congestion: yoga! Really!
That's right, a few sun salutations can be very helpful in draining the sinuses and getting the gunk out of your system. I never feel like exercising when I'm under the weather, but I've found that five or 10 minutes of gentle yoga is effective for clearing the sinuses and making me feel better in general. Give it a try!
