Hope Vs. Reality: Listen Closely & You Will See the Truth

It’s always something when you realize you’ve been living in a blur. There is something cathartic yet barbaric when it comes to you.

You know! You absolutely know the truth whether you want to know it or not!

Some call it an epiphany. Some call it realization. Some call it survival. I’ve come to call it hope.

It hurts. Its embarrassing. It’s humbling. It’s enraging. It strips you down to your whole unmasked self.

It’s the truth.

Deep in your bones you know – and it rears its ugly head over and over no matter how hard you try to fight it or even when you don’t know you’re fighting it because god dang, that would break down that steel wall that’s been saving you all this time.

You are strong, powerful, wise, unencumbered but still you feel it ... you know!

It’s hope that powers that drive. It’s hope that fuels that fight. It’s hope that brings you to that breaking point where you can now face the truth whether you want to or not. It’s hope.

It’s what sustains you. It’s your saving grace. It’s your teacher and it’s your guiding force.

It’s the most ingenuous genuine mindf*ck clarity that will haunt your thoughts or, if you let it, gift you life!
