Love Yourself(ie): Help Teach Preteens to Place Value on Their Self-Worth by Cheryl Leahy

I am absolutely terrified to raise my children in the digital age when self-worth is determined by the number of likes by so many. Criticisms can come fast and furious when someone is behind a screen, and they don't realize the true damage that can happen when derogatory comments are made. 

I recently picked up the short story, Love Yourself(ie) - Life Lessons for Building Kid Charisma, and realized that we have to speak to preteens on their level. This easily readable story is a narrative of what we think about ourselves, and how it matters more than what others think, told thorough the eyes of a preteen and her peers. This story recounts a common scenario and how kids can see themselves differently.
