Does Your Child Have Hives? Here’s the Question You Need to Ask Yourself Now!

If your child has hives it’s often caused by an allergic reaction to something she has been exposed to, such as a new food, soap, lotion or detergent. So ask yourself:

"What new has my child been around or eaten?"

If your child has red, raised, itchy blotches on their skin it most likely is hives. If this develops after a child has taken an antibiotic this may indicate that your child is allergic to that medicine. If the skin is itchy and dry for a more extended period of time this is more likely a chronic condition like eczema and not an allergic reaction.
