If you have some basic spices this easy homemade spaghetti seasoning comes together in just five minutes. Once you try this DIY spice blend recipe you may never buy store-bought spaghetti seasoning again! Here is what you need to grab from your pantry or spice rack for this gluten-free recipe: dried Italian seasoning (try this homemade Italian seasoning blend recipe), ground paprika, fine sea salt, onion powder, garlic powder and black pepper.
You can use this spaghetti seasoning blend two ways:
- Add about 3 tablespoons of the spice blend to a pound of ground meat. Use the meat for a meat sauce or in meatballs.
- For tomato spaghetti sauce, combine 3 tablespoons of the spice blend with 6 ounces (one can) tomato sauce and 1 3/4 cups water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer about 10 minutes.

- 2 teaspoons paprika
