Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
• 2 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
• 3/4 teaspoon oregano
• 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
• salt and pepper, to taste (optional)

Here's how to make it:

1. In a large skillet over medium-low heat, add the butter and heavy cream. Simmer until butter melts and is incorporated into the cream, about 2 minutes.
2. Add the garlic and oregano. Add salt and pepper, to taste, if desired. Stir to combine.
3. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Remove from heat.
4. Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the fridge.
