- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 3/4 teaspoon oregano
- 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper, to taste (optional)
Here's how to make it:
- In a large skillet over medium-low heat, add the butter and heavy cream. Simmer until butter melts and is incorporated into the cream, about 2 minutes.
- Add the garlic and oregano. Add salt and pepper, to taste, if desired. Stir to combine.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Remove from heat.
- Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the fridge.
