I've been on a mission lately to make new and delicious homemade salad dressings. My recipe collection of salad dressings that can be ready in five minutes is growing fast! This golden balsamic dressing recipe is ready in just five minutes and goes great on any salad, including my beautiful healthy summer quinoa salad. The vinaigrette salad dressing is tangy, a little sweet and has quite a delicious attitude!
To make this quick and easy low-sodium white balsamic salad dressing, you will need just five simple ingredients (plus salt and black pepper). Here are the gluten-free ingredients you need to grab from the pantry and fridge: olive oil, lemons for juicing, white balsamic vinegar, honey or agave nectar and fresh garlic (and salt and black pepper).
Variation: You could use champagne vinegar or even white wine vinegar if you can't find white (golden) balsamic. You can also use regular balsamic vinegar. All variations are delicious!
Drizzle this tangy and slightly sweet vinaigrette recipe over lettuce, grain salads, pasta salads or use it as a marinade for chicken, fish or shrimp. While you munch on that salad, read about the health benefits of olive oil and the health benefits of lemon.
