Ingredients
- 56 ounces (2 large cans) baked beans, drained (I used vegetarian baked beans)
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
- 2/3 cup barbecue sauce (I like Sweet Baby Ray’s)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons mustard powder
Here’s how to make it:
- Put all ingredients in your 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker. Mix together.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 4 to 5 hours or high heat for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until your desired consistency. Serve. Store the beans in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the microwave on on the stovetop over low heat.
